Has anybody notice this ?? I have 3 sticks of 64meg ram pc100--all generic bought from different places...although on POST it detected 192megs, windows would freeze on boot up...I ran a Ram-ID program and found out I had 2 sticks that were generally the same with CAS3 latency supported, but the third one had a CAS2 and CAS3 support...the configuration that made all 3 sticks work without freezing windows was: dimm1=CAS3, dimm2=CAS3, dimm3=CAS2-CAS3....
I have :ABIT BE6-2
Does anyone had a similiar exprience...

Yes I have run into "fussy" memory on more than one or two occasions.
Windows may not be really utilizing that 3rd CAS2 DIMM because of your present memory configuration. Before you declair the system stable I would recommend a thorough test - run a bunch of memory intensive applications, edit photos etc.; use System Monitor to see your memory usage - your testing should push all the way up past all your physical memory and into your swap file.
