My computer had windows 98 and then I installed system commander 2000(it's a boot manager/partition software). I then installed Windows 2000 which has it's own boot manager and after that whistler.

The problem is getting the each partition to boot from SC2000 boot menu instead of going into the 2000/whistler menu.

Anybody know how to get System Commander to have W2k and whistler boot directly to there partitions instead of the boot menu's ?

If you installed Whistler to it's own partition then...

1 From the System Commander main menu at boot time, press the Alt+S keys (to enter the setup)
2) select the Order, Add, and Removal menu
3) Press the Alt+A keys to add a selection.
4) highlight the partition that you would like to add, press the Alt+T to toggle the selection to a bootable status of yes.
5 Press the Esc key until you are back to the main menu

If it is not on its own partition then I don't know. System Commander does support up to 32 OSs on a single partition. I don't *think* Whistler is recognized by SC2K yet, so it wouldn't copy the right boot sector to the SC's subfolder.

You do get a free 90 day support from them

It may be simpler to reinstall Whister to its own partition. Please post your results on this.
