:) Hi everyone!!
I am about to try to buy a notebook, I do not know wich one yet, but most of my choices are with winXP and my home desktop uses win98se and I have everything for this OS, now, can I install win98se as a second OS on top of the original wnXP or fformat the notebook HD and install win98se as the only OS?
Any sugestions will be appreciated !!!! ;)

You can install Win98 only if the laptop is formatted with FAT32. If you order a laptop from Dell, for instance, you can specify FAT32.

You can format and install Win98, but you will lose all bundled software and you will need to find drivers for all of the latest hardware in the laptop.

You should give XP a chance. I think you'll like it.
