ok, only gonna be quick this time, cuz i just wrote a whole heap in here and my comp decided to **** itself. basically it is thermal paste but is basically made from silver for better conductivity. Check out artic silver website www.articsilver.com (http://www.articsilver.com) for the australian distributers. ( www.coolpc.com.au (http://www.coolpc.com.au) is one, and http://gorbs.arecool.net are also one going by artic silver). The 2nd place speciallise with the thermaltake products, so why not get a superorb while ya getting ya artci silver.

I plan on a abit Kt7 and a superorb dosn't fit due to capacitors that are near the socket for the CPU. Thanks for the information I'll look into it soon as I actually get the duron.

Good choice Hellmund. I got a tube of Arctic silver, and I don't regret it one bit. I've used it on my processor, my video card's chip, my video card's RAM, and on builds. It works great! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif

What Mobo are u going to get for that Tbird.
The Abit KT7 and Asus AV7 can't fit a superorb and I thought they were the best socket-A mobo's. I'm waiting for the next computer fair to get a duron, mobo and Geforce2 card(I'll likely save as least 150$ at a fair and you still have a warranty as they represent stores from all over)
and there's usually someone selling Heatsinks and fans so I might get a fop-32 while I'm there unless there's another good mobo that'll fit a superorb.Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I believe it only has problems going on the Abit KT7 RAID. Not the A7V or the regular KT7.

Good, thanks i remember reading in another post that you couldn't use one.I'll get one and if it won't fit I'll do a little trimming till it does.
