flashed bios, lost 2nd HD

Flashed my BH6 KG bios to newest SS bios.
Only problem is that my second hard drive Maxtor 20gig is no longer there. Anyone ever had this happen ? What can I do. Will I have to re - install it. I don't want to loose everything on it.

Is it "no longer there" when you use Setup's IDE HDD AUTO DETECTION ?

If it is detected but not recognized by the OS it may be necessary to re-run whatever utility the drive maker provides as a work-around for larger HDDs.
