I NOTICED ALL THE TEST RUNS TO GET THE PROCESSOR TO 1.5GHZ USED PC-133 RAM. DO I NEED TO GO OUT AND BUY PC-133 RAM OR CAN I GET 1.5 GHZ WITHOUT IT AND RUN AT THIS CLOCK SPEED WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE . I ALSO NOTICED A VOLTAGE CHANGE WAS NEEDED, IS THIS ALSO NEEDED. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS.----- LES NEW TO OVERCLOCKING -WANT TO DO IT RIGHT

on that board does it allow you to change the multiplier?

that is the preffered method as ooposed to FSB increases. Or it might require both depending on the board.

well if you pllan on OCing that much I would imagine a voltage increase would be needed for it to run stable.

My best advie would be to do some research and find some articles dealing with overcloking Celerons.

It's ok, it's not your fault that Intel locked the multipliers resulting in AMD locking thiers. It's just another way to milk more money from the consumer. Safety and stability feature my ace. :D

first no need for the caps!

You can only OC through the FSB.

Plus you ram is probally pc-133 as they are backword compatible.
Just slowly up the FSB and see where you go
