Why in the world is this stupid program on my computer? I sure didn't install it. And more importantly, how do I remove it? I've already gone to Add/Remove Programs. It was in there, but after I uninstalled it... nothing happened. Its still there, and it is annoying me to death. I REALLY hate these self-installing without-your-permission programs. If I want your stupid app, I'll download it and install it myself. Don't assume that I want that **** taking up my window space. Grrr.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
-Jim

The CommonName Agent (http://www.commonname.com/English/home.asp) software provides users with various tools, each with the objective of enhancing the usability of the web.
Language :: C/C++

Platform :: Windows 95/98

As far as I can tell, it's a browser enhancement.

Ehh... I read that same thing too. Its a browser annoyance, is what it is. It appears in your desktop folders too. It really is a pain in the ****. I had to go through my registry to remove all occurrances of it.
