Is it me, or has anyone else out there that plays Medal of Honor Allied Assault noticed that the graphics tend to smooth out at 1280x1024?

I was playing at 1024x768 thinking that my system wouldn't handle all of the eye candy turned on at a higher resolution. Turns out I've been missing out this whole time. I already finished the **** game and everything.

If anyone out there reading this thinks I'm crazy, give it a shot. It may be just my video card or the drivers, but something sure as hell works like I want to finally.

Here are my system specs so you know I don't have some cutting-edge system:

Athlon 1.33 @1.43
256MB PC133
Geforce3 ti200 (Detonator 23.11)
40GB 7200 Maxtor
SB Live
WinXP Pro

It seems to work best in 1024-768, In fps there was no diffrence or sometimes an improvement over 640-480 and 800-600. When I went higher, I noticed a 15 fps drop.

GeForce 3 Ti 500

How were you able to check the framerate in MOHAA? I'd love to see if what mine says. Maybe it just looks better at 1280x1024; no screen-tearing and all.

First off you need the console to be enabled, this is done in the controls menu (or something)

use the button assigned, which is by default ~ (the one left of 1), to get into that console.

one in type

fps 1

thats that. to turn it off...

fps 0

make sense?
