Say it starts out as 1 hard drive and 1 dvd (C + D), and I add a hard drive, will xp install it as the D drive, bump the dvd to E? If it does will the dvd shortcuts be updated automatically to E? And then add cdrw?

Thanks :D jrb420 03-27-2002, 07:59 PM XP keeps all current drive letter, no matter if you add a new hard drive, a new partition, or whatever. You can change the drive letters in XP easily. I can't remember exactly how at the moment, but I have done it and it is very easy. SysOpt.com
