I have 3 Fujitsu HDD's ranging from 6.4GB to 27.3GB. They are all different models.

The 6.4GB is UDMA33 ATA-3
The 27.3 is UDMA66 ATA-4
The 10.2GB is UDMA66 ATA-5

What does the -3,-4,-5 number mean?

ATA-5 is UDMA100. The drive is capable of 100MB/s in burst, but most probably your controller is only 66MB/s.
