hi guys,

could someone tell me how to remove the games on win98 permanently that users could not install it back.
(games like FREECELL, MSHEART, MINESWEEPER...)

i know how to do in W2K but not in WIN98.

thanks in advance, Henry

Since win98 security is nonexistent, any user can reverse changes that you've made. However, they might not know or be able to figure out what's wrong, or how to fix it. You could remove the shortcuts, or edit them, in Programs menu, to point to another file, either nonexistent or, perhaps, a Notepad message stating that the program has been disabled (until the school semester is over, perhaps?). You could even delete, or change the names of, the executables, to make recovery more difficult ... and hide the win98 CD.
