I am working on a PC for someone and I can't determine the model number.

The manufacturer is PC Chips -- buffalo chips :D --

Everything is on the board sound, video, etc.

There is a gold heat riser in the middle with PC100 on it.
The video is SIS 3DPro AGP8M.
The audio is SoundPro Audio PCI.
Socket 7.

Anything else you need to know I would be glad to find.

Thanks everyone.

Boot up and press the Pause key during the memory check. Note the number down next to the BIOS date. Go to www.wimsbios.com and search for the board by BIOS ID. That's alot better than hearsay. ;)

I have done the 'wimsbios' and that is where I got the PC Chips manufacturer. The problem is the model number of the board which is not provided by the BIOS number. Thanks anyway.

By the way that number is 51-0814-001437-00101111-071595-570-001_10_CHIPSET-H.

...and there's no 5-6 digit model number (mixed numbers and letters) anywhere on the wafer? Look between the expansion slots.

Nothing I can see. I was looking for something like 'M570LR'. All I found was 'PCI1', 'PCI2', 'PCI3', etc. and we both know what that's about. By the by, the mobo has 3 PCI slots and 2 ISA, if that helps anyone.

It is a PcChips M570!
Take look at this picture!

It doesn't match the picture exactly. There is nothing between the ISA and PCI slots. There isn't an AGP slot either. It is onboard video. But I think you are right, it is an M570 something.
