Hi there,
Background: I m using a 4 port Linksys Router to share 1 ip with 2 of my computers at home.
Right now the situation is something like that:
It is kind of strange now. Because I just disable my DMZ Host (now my IP address is 192.168.1.0, according to GRC's Port probe, now none of my ports are opened. All of them are either closed or stealth.
FYI, my firmwware version is 1.42.3, Jan 28 2002 and I am running Windows XP and my ftp is using port: 5999 with internal static ip.
Right now if I use »web2ftp.com/cgi-web2ftp/work/ftpman.pl[?] and try to log into my ftp server, it will take a long time and eventually, a page
shows up says "Cannot find server" and page cannot be displayed.
So in other words, if I want to use my ftp server somehow I have to expose my DMZ host....
Please advise any other work around and thanks in advance.
