Heyyyy ppl!!!
I was wondering, can I put a PC133 module in a motherboard with a maximum 100mhz FSB? What could happen if I do? Do I get better performance or worse? Or are there physical differences that doesn't allow me to put the module in the m/b slot?
Any info you can provide is appreciated as always!

PC133 memory should work in your board, it should be backwards compatible. It won't matter what your FSB max is, the memory will run up to the 133mghz (it will run faster overclocked), it will even work in a 66mghz system. As far as performance, you should't lose any. Some of the wiser peole here will give more details, this is just what I know about it.

The PC133 module should be backwards compatible to your existing motherboard. If you FSB is at 100Mhz then the memory would only go at that speed.. so even though u have a PC133 it will only communicate at 100Mhz.. but people do say that if you arte in that situation you have more stability than running a module on PC100. However, you can't use a PC100 on a PC133.. pretty much common sense..

I just put mushkin 133 infineon in my 440 bx board and took out my pc100 generic and noticed a speed diffrence. the mushkin is faster then generic ram. On MDK2 i gained 7fpson the test. I had 96 megs of generic pc100 and now 128 of pc133

What happens if I put cas2 instead of cas3? Cas2 is suppsoed to be faster? Would I damage the memory if I try? And finally, will I be able to change the option back to cas3 if the computer hangs or something?

No damage, if it works, fine, if not, set it back to 3.
