as i'm typing into this thread my computer is slow and someone is typing with me on this how cani identify w is doing this i reformated my hardrive the other day because of slowness now not all of my letters apear here because some one is either hackd in to my computer , any ideas what to do thanks , someone is typing write behide me and when i stop he 's typing , what can i do

Have you check for viruses?

If you think someone is controlling your pc, then take a look at getting a firewall program to block unwanted entry.

Hi jimstep just change over to my other hardrive , i ran the anti virus software a dozen times and also ran software from another company and the one i was using that free AVG garbage said nothing then i ran this spy software and it said there were 26 questionable something or other (not viruses ) but something was questionable about 26 things in all , i reformatted the other night knowing something was slowing my computer down and did the clean install with XP and alot of downloading in the last 24 hrs and then went to make a post here about it and this guy is typing right behide me and deleting everthing i typed in before i post

You have probaly got a backdoor virus.And it could come from any software you have.But it also could be anyone with access to your computer.

Hello longway: Somewhere back I read that xp sometimes comes with the voice recognittion software enabled. Is it writing what you are saying? Another person was having a mystery guest on his comp and it turned out to be this situation. Hope this helps. JIFFYPROGASM

Not unless i'm saying alot of crazy stuff to myself , and with me typing and this guy is erasing and adding to my words and slowing my ISP down, well you know someone was there , i just hope he didn't get all my information because i was just putting all my sites down and bookmarking them and logging in to them and checking on other sites ! but , thanks !
