Built my system yesterday,
MSI k7T pro 2 a
Tbird 750 @945, (unlocked with pencil trick) @ default vol, 33 celsius idle
Ibm deskstar 75gxp 30 gb
micron 133 128 megs
ATI expert 98
The only prob I had was that the superorb didn't fit! I didn't have the time or tools to do a modification. The only fan I could get locally was a $10 coolermaster which is doning pretty well so far. Attaching the fan was also pretty scary. I want to stress the system at it's present state b4 moving to 1 Ghz. It's so easy to oc with this board, fuzzy logic let's you up the fsb in windows and you can change the multiplier thru the bios. I wouldn't have done it without you guys great advice, thanks a lot!

Nice to hear your cruisin' smoothly!!

Fuzzy Logic from MSI is a lot of fun and you can OC to your hearts content. I had a couple of times that I OC'd and it ended by re-booting to the original settings when it didn't like what I was doing. I suspect that was to prevent me from really messing up my cpu.

I would suggest you get a bigger fan /heatsink combo than the coolermaster before you do much o/cing things will heat up real fast. I know because I have 2 cooler master's and neither one is adequate. my fop-32 ,and arctic silver should arrive tomorrow.
