I am a newbie when it comes to networking and I would like to set up a LAN between 2 computers. Could someone give me very simple to follow steps to connect these computers, please?
I would just like to know:

1)How to do it?
2)How much it will cost? (approx.)
3)What parts are needed?

They both have XP Pro and ethernet ports.
If there is any other info needed, I would be happy to post it.
