I had the GLOBAL VILLAGE TELEPORT 56x2 FAX/MODEM EXTERNAL modem working fine on my Windows 95 OS. It was setup for COM2 with the old internal modem ( 14400) on COM1. I upgraded to Windows 98 SE over the weekend. After the upgrade, upon rebooting, the modem wasn't automatically recognized. I added it, marked that I had the Drivers, put the Global Village CD into my D drive and the Drivers could not be found on the CD or in the WIN98 directory. I went to the Global Villlage site, found the section for the Driver download but it doesn't download. Instead I get into Text for the Driver. Anyone have any ideas.
I'm also wondering if this modem is compatible with Windows 98 SE. Thanks.
