Anyone know of a good CD-RW/DVD combo drive?

Does anyone know of any good CD-RW/DVD combo drives? The only one I can think of is the Ricoh 12x10x32x CD-RW with 8x DVD. Are there any oters that you would suggest?

yeah that works, but I'm looking for fast burners, like 8x or more. As far as I know, Ricoh is the only company that makes em' this high.

Did my homework on this one frozen. Just bought a Plextor 12x10x32 cd-rw at www.buy.com (http://www.buy.com) for $219. Specs show it reads DVD's as well as cd's. Plus, its got Burn-proof technology which eliminates coaster making. According to www.mp3.com (http://www.mp3.com) , multi-tasking while burning is no problem. Cool eh?
Now break out the wallet!

Struggles have you tried it with a DVD. I think you will find that it does not read DVD disks as it is not a DVD drive, it is only a Cd drive.
As for good combos i don't really think there are any. Well any that will do the job as well as two seperate drives. i would only suggest getting one if space in your case is getting a bit cramped. otherwise go for two seperates.

Wasn't quite sure, because I didn't receive it yet, although salesman read specs which gave dvd read speeds. Salesmen......ugh!

When will it be arriving struggles? I have plently of space in the front of my comp, its the IDE channels that are cramped. I have all of them full at the moment. (Two hard drives two CD-ROMs)

Tell me about that plextor when it arrives
