I currently have it Overclocked to run at 1093 MHz and the CPU Temp is running around 105-109F (42-43C).
What is the Caution/High Temperature range for this CPU ??

That is a good temp.
If I were you I would keep it under 50C.
I wont let my CPU go past 55C.
AMD says 90C is when they fry.
You will probally get lock up around 60-70C

My m8 runs his 1GHz T-bird at 65C and has done from the day he got it. Its stable and thats all he cares about. My T-bird regulaly hits 60C i reckon too much is made of CPU temps at the end of the day a 1.4GHz CPU is still a 1.4GHz CPU no matter what temp its running at and if its stable i cant see the problem. Some say it shortens the life of the CPU but be honest do you really give a toss if your CPU is still working in 2 or 3 years?

I give a "toss" if my cpu is still working in 2 years.
Hell I probally wont be using it but I still want it.
If ask most people on this board 65C is not a very safe operating temperater.
My t-bird 1.33@1.4 runs at 33C-37C
Thats with a few fans and some canse modding but 65 is not a very good temperature.

Hey man chill! i wasnt being nasty and i am very sorry if you though i was.
I agree 65C looks too high but in all fairness where have you ever seen an official statment from AMD saying this is unsafe? it is regarded unsafe because we say so not AMD. Like i said he has run his PC at this temp since he placed the CPU in the motherboard, the system is stable and so he does not worry about it.
As this entire forum is about system optimisation, overclocking, benchmarking and generaly pushing you PC as fast as it will go i wrongly assumed most people would upgrade on a regular basis, hence my 2 or 3 years comment with the CPU, hell in 3 years a 1.4GHz Athlon will laughable anyway.
My Athlon will not go cooler than 48C idle no matter what i use, i have tried 4 or 5 HSF units and i have 3 80mm case fans but it still hits 60C under load (well after 100% CPU time for 6 hours). My only conclution is that some CPU, even the same make and speed run hotter than others.
Once again i appologise if my comments were taken out of context, this was not my intent.

My Duron clocked to 950MHz runs at 45C
Seen it hit as high as 50C if the room temp is warm. Just 1 extra case case. Replaced my Thermaltake with the Delta fan cuz I just couldn't take the noise levels any more but it was about 42C with it on.
Got a Coolermaster on now and a Sunon exhaust fan.

ALnath, HUH
Were did i get upset or mad. I didnt think you were being nasty.
I was just saying.
What I thought.
I to upgrade every few months. But I do donate older parts to the community or somthing. So thats why I like them working.

Alnath I'm guessing that your from UK or Australia? I'm familiar with the slang "Give A Toss" = Give A ***** LOL little different meaning in the states. Maybe that will clear things up! Oh and Under 50c - Good, Over 60 - I'd be worried!

Well, I just overclocked Duron 950 to 1045MHz! Well, I downloaded & flashed the tweakable BIOS from www.ocworkbench.com, now I could use more settings in the BIOS. set the RAM settings to FAST/2.5T/6T/3T & CPU to 100/133 in the BIOS then started up Win2000 and used CPUFSB Ver 2.2.6 to raise the FSB to 110/36/147!!! & that's it! Just didn't want to mess with the CPU & the led pencil... though the performance gains are not much but i'd rather buy an Athlon 1600+ which is cheap by selling this Duron 950 on ebay rather to render it unusable by attempting physical tweak! Hey! Katmandu, would u like to share how did u do it? I'm soory, I'll probably tell about the temps in my next post... Cheers!

I think your safe, if it rises past 50 or 55 then you might consider investing in a larger heatsink/fan.
