ram at startup

why does it take 3 times to count my ram at start up thought is was my ram goin out so i bought new ram took all the old ram out all new now 1 stick of 128 mushkin infineon And dont tell me my mobo is goin out please

Just go into the BIOS and enable the "Quick Boot" option so that it will just verify the RAM once. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
