I recently blew my Slot 1 motherboard with Celeron 333 Processor

The Processor is OK

I was able to acquire an Elpina BAE-VO Dual Motherboard with a Celeron 300 Processor.

Adding my 333 Celeron seemed like a great idea. Processors added individually one at a time boot up OK. but when both processors are added the board won't boot. Any Ideas??

Likely a jumper problem but I have no manual or specs. Any help out there on that line??

From my initial searches on the web:
- Elpina only manufactures boards doesn't support them
- may be same as PCChips board M7XX series (Which one??)
- I am currently going through the PCChip site downloading
manuals to check pictures of boards. (a long process)
- some Celerons on some dual processor boards need special adaptors or modifications

I would appreciate any help or direction anyone can give.

Take a look here (http://www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q3998142/pcchips/index.html) . They are posting 3 mobo's : M-720ll , M-750l and Pll-2200B

Look at the chipset. 720/2200 is the LX chipset. 750 is the BX chipset. The APIC module must be present in the small brown slot, lower right side of board, for dual operation...;)

Thanks for the speedy reply. I was able to determine my board is a PII2200B and down loaded the manual. The manual diagram corresponds with the actual motherboard. The photo on the stud.fernunihagen site shows it as a M720. The PII2200B photo is much different. An error?? someplace.
Now I need an APIC Module for it so that it will run dual processors. Any ideas where I can get one?? Searching the web turned up some people looking for them back in 1999 and 2000.
The one place mentioned www.buymarket.com is not available.

The manual shows how to set clock speed but only for one CPU.
Do the dual processors have to be the same speed??
Mine are a Celeron 300 and a Celeron 333.
Thanks again

Thank you Mr. Computer as well.
As mentioned in my reply to Rocketmech above I'm still not absolutely sure which board I have. It matches the diagram in the PII2200B manual downloaded from amptron but not the photo from the German site mentioned above.

My board has 3 IDE/EISA slots, 4 PCI slots and 1 AGP slot and 4 168 pin memory slots. It also has a number of jumpers

I'm trying to find an APIC module for the board. I'm also wondering if both processors need to be the same speed.

Thanks again for your input.

That APIC module has been out of production for a number of years. I had to special order 3 from Taiwan 2 years ago.
Good Luck on your search...;)
