look for a QUALITY recommondation on a 80 gig ATA 100 hard drive. I need to add a second one to my Asus 7 motherboard and need RELIBILITY...no junk here please.

The general concensus here at SysOpt currently leans towards the Western Digital BB series:

The new Seagate's are very good, but I cannot vouch for their durability:

I would rate WD's speed and reliabilty balance as the best of the bunch. It seems to do it all. :cool:

I cannot in good conscience recommend any IBM drive at this time.
