Alright here's the dilly. When i'm playing a pc game and when I use more than 3 keys my pc beeps at me. It's like my cpu can't hadle it. I'm using a Microsoft keyboard with the shortcut buttons on top. Thanx ppl!

Ship the whole thing to me. I'll find a good home for it. :)

Is it a USB keyboard?

Perfectly normal. I've never seen a computer than can handle input from more than 3 keys at once. As a result, the PC beeps, signifying a keyboard error. I hear this a lot when I attempt to play X-Men vs. Street Fighter at work on MAME without a joystick. **** dragon punch motion... :)

I think that depends on the application that you are running and where the keyboard focus is. I can press all kinds keys at the same time and never get a beep.

Okay, maybe I should re-phrase that then - most GAMES can't handle input from more than a 2-3 keys at a time & cause a beep.

I found the folowing paragraph in The Peter Norton PC Programmer's Bible, c1993:

The improved error-detection capability of the 84-key and 101/102-key keyboard controllers is largely invisible to your programs, and the keyboard hardware and BIOS service routines are very reliable. The most common errors you might encounter are a full BIOS keyboard buffer or a key combination that the BIOS cannot process. In both situations, the BIOS generates a warning beep to inform you that something unusual has occurred. (For example, try holding down both pairs of Ctrl and Alt keys on a PS/2 keyboard.)

I doubt the above has changed very much in the past nine years. The most notable difference, of course, is the advent of USB keyboards.

It would seem then that Razielian's problem (if it is a problem) is his motherboard/BIOS.
