Ok guys here is you a good one.
Novell 5.x box and an nt 2k box as well. I have a customer that wants the students to login one time on the novell box which will be the authentication box. They are using a generic login on the nt box which will allow them to access our software. The clincher is the folks have over 500 original novell users and the do not want to even see a nt login screen. The users are not allowed to co exsist using the normal means due to the fact that the nt boxes are unsecure and hold client data that must be secure. I've tried tweak UI to auto log them into nt but the problem there is that the automatic user name is then passed into the login box of the novell screen! This as you can imagine is also unwanted. So in effect I have to have a user sit down and boot the computer. they should get a blank novell box to type in their login name and password. at some point a generic nt user account should login and connect to the ntbox without any type of login boxes opening up. Any suggestions?
