I just got some Tenchi Muyo AVI's and all it plays is video no sound. It worked on my friends computer and it doesn't work on mine and i have no clue why, at all. I downloaded all the drivers and when windows media player tried to download codecs it said that a decompresser was found but it doesn't work:confused: , whats up with that. So if anyone could help me it would be really nice!!!

I would go to the DivX website at www.divx.com and download the newest codecs and player. This should solve your problem. Some avi's play better on this player than Windows Media.

Also, if you don't want to download the player and the codecs, then try to play the avi's in Realplayer or RealOne.

i have downloaded DivX 5 pro. Still does the same thing. Can you think of anything else? My friend said it might be my drivers, maybe not complient? what do you think?

You need Nimo Codec pack also. I had the same problem with missing sound but found the answer on Divx forum.

I dont have the downloadlink here but you'll found it at www.divx.com

Install FULL install minus the MatroxG450 and Rubic resizer thing and your all set and can enjoy movies with sound also.
