is it better to use the hard drive software in my case IBM or fdisk to partition my hd?
secondly could someone tell me the pros and cons of system commander 2k. I got it from one our IT guys. thanks

Offline, try Upgrading and Repairing Computers by Peter Mueller (Que Publications). About 1500 odd pages of fairly good detail, handy when you can't solve a problem and therefore can't get online to find the answer.
