My teacher at my high school gave a group of us a monumental task of using spare resources that our school has. He has requested that we develop a plan to create a dial up ISP for the students within our school (many cannot afford even dial up). He wants to know how much it would cost to maintain, how much the parts would costs and where to buy them, and how it can be done.

Here is a list of things that have been requested:
-Dialup ISP
--How to set it up - Software/OS/Hardware/etc
--Parts needed
--Costs/Maintance
--Donations - parts
--Anything else I can't remember

-Internet/Web Filtering
--Software
--How to use the software

Right now the dial up ISP is our top priority. We have a T1 Provided by our central school office, however, they control the web filtering and proxies. We also want to take control of that ourselves so we can customize the filtering.

We currently have the following:
T1
Powerful server
Old Parts from old PC's
Limited cash

Any suggestions, ideas or even DONATIONS, would be great.
