I have this problem, which never happened before.
Whenever I install new video driver (Manufacture's driver is fine), my screen tilted to left cutting the left of the screens, when I had this problem before, I could just adjust the screen in display setting, but when I do this now, It won't stay that way (sometimes I can't adjust at all) if I play game or reboot computer.
and before when I install my videocard, computer recognize video card as Geforce 2 GTS and Asus V7700, but now when I tried to install, only Asus V7700 is available (therefore can't use "Geforce
Tweak Utility")
I even format everything, reinstalled everything but it won't solve
the problem.
Is it because there is some kind of files left in my hard drive?
when I do format I just reboot and go to dos mode then,
I type "format c:".
can this be the problem????
plz somebody help please.

You can format and try new drivers until the Bitboys finally release a product (inside joke) and it won't fix that problem. The monitor needs repair/replacement. Find a local shop and have it serviced or try to tweak the monitor settings. Believe it or not, turning the monitor in another direction may help due to the Earth's magnetic field.

If the screen is rotated when you first boot up (POST), it's the monitor. If it's only in Windows, it's drivers or settings. Make sure you're using the correct drivers for the monitor.

what do u exactly mean by screen is rotated?
you mean left side or right side on top?
if that is what you meant, no, it never happened.
It might be window or driver setting.
and one more question, will "format c:" in dos mode will
completely earse the hard drive? and is it the best way to
format?
thx aloooooot for your help.

my screen tilted to left cutting the left of the screens What does that mean? To me, that means the screen is rotated. Have you ever tried to adjust the monitor controls, rather than hosing Windows? There are controls on all modern monitors for tilt, pincushion, size and centering. I would open up the monitor instructions if I were you.

It seems to me that you're trying to kill roaches with a nuclear weapon. Guess what? Roaches don't mind radiation at all.
