I am thinking of subscribing to a computing magazine, and I was wondering which one you feel is the best. I enjoy gaming, but I do not want a gaming centered magazine. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions? canit 12-12-2000, 06:32 AM I think PC magazine and Maximum PC are good; www.zdnet.com/pcmag/ (http://www.zdnet.com/pcmag/) www.maximumpc.com (http://www.maximumpc.com) wyvrn 12-12-2000, 07:01 AM Maximumpc is the best, but none are great. You can learn more at Systopt in one afternoon than in 12 issues of a candy coated mag. socalgal 12-12-2000, 07:32 AM I subscribe to MaximumPC. MicroTimes is pretty good and still free. http://www.microtimes.com/ Gomer 12-12-2000, 08:07 AM MaximumPC. Not sue what it is running now, but it was $12 for 12 issues. Great mag and the price is right! maxxx 12-12-2000, 10:36 AM maximumPC , no contest Steve R Jones 12-12-2000, 10:40 AM Why don't you try out a few and see what you think http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif randy48 12-12-2000, 10:43 AM Most mags will send you a free trial issue, get one of each and decide which is more interesting to you http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Warthog 12-13-2000, 12:24 AM I tried 'em all. PC World and PC Magazine were way too "amateurish" for me. I don't need a "Top 10" list to tell me what computer is better. I subscribe to Maximum PC. Warthog SysOpt.com
