Most people have no idea how much water they should be drinking, and most people live from day to day in a dehydrated state. They don't drink enough water. Without water, we would be poisoned to death by our own waste products and toxins resulting from metabolism. We need water to breathe; we lose approximately one pint of liquid every day just by exhaling.
Water is vital to digestion and metabolism, acting as a medium for various enzymatic and chemical reactions in the body. It carries nutrients and oxygen to the cells through the blood, regulates body temperature and lubricates our joints. If you are not in "fluid balance" you can impair every aspect of your body's physiological functioning.
However, too much water can cause some serious side effect see here. (http://members.rogers.com/muchmark/water.jpg)

1.5L bottle of mineral water
5-6 0.5L glasses of mineral water from the minibar at work
5-6 coffees (~200ml)
2 beers (Heineken 330ml)

Pretty much every day.

How am I doing ? ;)

Nd, beer and coffee are both diuretics, thus you are going to loose more fluids then you are taking in.
You're not very well hydrated.

'muchmark', if that pic is representative of what happens from drinking too much water, I am DEFINATELY going to preserve my manly physique and not take ANY chances. ...I'll continue my STRICT regimen of 2 liters of Diet Pepsi per day!

I heard some were that you can tell by the colour of your urine if you are dehidrated. clear good, yellow not good.

Dark yellow is the sign of concentrated urine due to inadequate hydration.
The kidneys will make concentrated urine to conserve body fluids. When you drink too much fluid, the kidneys will make the urine more diluted or clear by increasing the volume.
Unless of course, if the kidneys fail, you will retain too much fluid and turn into that picture up there.
Maybe she suffers from kidney failure??

The best way to tell if you are healthy is having light-yellow urine first thing in the morning, and the majority of your turds sink, not float. (The turd thing has to do with your fat intake. More fat=floaters).

Sick, but true.

STEATORRHEA - Fecal matter that is frothy, foul-smelling and floats because of a high fat content. A finding that is typical in malabsorption syndromes.

I'm definately not in with the "Water Crowd".My intake of fluids per day is a simple equation:

Coffee
(x)
Coffee
(x)
Coffee ^10
