Digital Camera Resource (http://www.dcresource.com) has lots of info.

I want one with 1600x1200 resolution, more than 3X optical zoom and a TTL viewfinder (LCD screens wash out in sunlight.) I've given up on the storage issue, card prices will come down as popularity goes up. The Olympus C-2100UZ is my current favorite.

Well i have been satisfied with my Olympus D-340R -- 1280 x 960, it is the 1.3mp and takes a decent picture. Although with distance shots it seems to blur shadows and colors(only jpg output), and with very close macro shots it seems to blur also. It works better for closer-up shots. I basically use it for product layout and importing items into ps to modify; for that its perfect. For the most part i like it.

I have had no problems from my HP 315. It's a 2.1MP camera, the only draw back is no optical zoom. But wasn't a bad buy. What was the price range you wanted. Might consider checking prices on shopper.com and thumbing through maximum pc when they do another camera review.
