Yeah thats a good price but make sure that they actually do the 2 mile range. Also, if they have the connect beep after every time you talk on them, don't buy them, it will drive you nuts.

DOes anyone know if Bellsouth model 1008 2-way radios are any good?

They have 14 channels, range of up to 2 miles, channel lock, etc.

Are they a good buy for 39.99 per pair?
