Just saw price drop on memory again for PC133 128meg dimm for 42 bucks, so I ordered just a min ago. I expect to get it 10 day from today. Yes, they are generic but what the hell I need as much memory as I could get my hands on. Most of my computer now has 96-128meg of memory, as price drop on memory I will slowly get it to upgrade them all to at least 256meg allowing me to do more in windows without much swapping and that feeling of having so much memory is just so good. What can I say, I wouldn't buy these kind of stuff at best buy ETC they are a rip off place. Been there, their price is alway JACK high.

When prices are falling like they have been lately on RAM and CDRs, sometimes I find myself saying "Quick! Buy more before the prices drop again!" And then they always do! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

I guess they are seeing how many will buy it at this price and then jack it up 10 buck after selling certain amount. Like they did a few week ago but I am not taking chance this time by waiting a little longer. I think it affordable enought that most will buy it anyway even if they don't need it. It just feel good to buy something cheap like this once in awhile. couldn't let this deal pass up, I bought 2 64meg dimm already, so this one is probably the last one for me.
ROY, isn't the more you buy the cheaper it become or is it the otherway around?

I did pretty much the same thing last weekend. I found a store selling 128 meg PC133 chips for $100 Canadian ($25 less than in the store I was planning on buying from), so I bought three chips. That'll make a nice upgrade from my current 96 meg eh?
