I just recently aquired a bunch of motherboards and cpus and was wondering if anyone knows of a web site or book that could tell me how to identify them? I have figured two out so far but im stumped with the rest. Is there any way to identify who makes them and what the specs are on the boards without actucally installing them in a computer? If anyone could help that would be great.
Thanks,
Ryan

The FCC ID is usually somewhere on the hardware just plug it on this site and you will get the manufacturer from that you might get the model and go from there:http://www.driverzone.com/fcc_id_search.htm

Thanks for the tip but i can't seem to find the fcc id on any of the mother boards. Except one of them i did find one and it did get me somewhere but not far enough to figure out the specs. Is there any other ways to find out who makes the boards without any fcc id?
Thanks again
