Ethernet Disk RAID 1TB
The second NAS device LaCie sent is a far different solution, containing a hot-swap rack and four hard disk drives.
On the back panel, we find two USB ports, two Gigabit Network connections, a cooling fan and power supply. The USB ports support added network storage, while two network connections allow the Ethernet Disk RAID to be placed between two other network devices if desired.
Four 250GB drives are packaged separately in the same box as the Ethernet Disk RAID. The drive rack uses a drive's native SATA connector for hot plugging.
The Ethernet Disk RAID included a precaution sheet, installation guide, warranty card, owner's manual and utility CD, system backup software CD, power cord and network cable.
