DDR-3 Memory Heads for the Mainstream In a world where "excess bandwidth" seems like an oxymoron, DDR-3 memory is looking more like a potential option for mainstream buyers. Prices are falling, power requirements have dropped, and new platforms and processors are emerging that just might take full advantage of DDR-3's extreme bandwidth.
