After introducing the powerful X48 chipset, Intel had a big hole in their mainstream lineup - one that has just been filled by the new P45 and G45 4 Series chipsets. The P45 standardizes mainstream support for the 45nm Core 2 processors, while the G45 offers 1080p HD video with all the fixin's.

The GA-EP35-DS4 Motherboard Review: Gigabyte Ushers in Dynamic Energy Saving


Gigabyte is all fired up about their latest Dynamic Energy Saver utility, and offers up the GA-EP35-DS4 as the poster child for their new technology. Moving AMD Forward: Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 Motherboard Review


The latest and greatest AMD processors and video cards have been unveiled, but hardware enthusiasts still need a high-end platform. The AMD 790FX would seem to hold all the keys, offering Phenom support, quad CrossFire possibilities, and a ton of performance and overclocking options. NVIDIA's take on Media Centers: Gigabyte GA-73UM-S2H Motherboard Review


Intel has had the integrated graphics market to itself for far too long, and with Vista Aero compatibility becoming almost a standard requirement, it's great to see NVIDIA jumping back in. The Gigabyte GA-73UM-S2H motherboard is based on the GeForce 7150, and it gives us a very good look at the features, performance and target market of this new chipset.
