It’s easy to tell when a new interface has gained widespread acceptance, because only then does ATI expand its All-In-Wonder line to satisfy multiple market levels using the new interface. Consequently, the addition of ATI’s All-In-Wonder X800 XL high-end graphics/multimedia card to its previous midrange All-In-Wonder X600 Pro shows the PCI Express market has reached maturity.

Recent All-In-Wonder cards are most notable for providing the full performance specifications for the 3D graphics card upon which they were based, while adding a wide variety of multimedia enhancements, crowned with TV/FM tuners. ATI continues this in its All-In-Wonder X800 XL, clocking the visual processor and RAM at 400MHz and 490MHz (DDR980) respectively.

ATI clocks Samsung DDR3 1000 to 980MHz data rate.

Besides having the same performance values as standard X800 XL graphics cards, the All-In-Wonder version also follows a similar layout.
