Installation

CoolIT provides brackets for different AMD and Intel sockets and a small wrench. Removing the motherboard is necessary in order to install the Eliminator.

The first step in the installation process is securing the stand-offs by screwing a bolt through the mounting hole. In our case, we use the bundled Socket 775 brackets, first adding the water-cooling block and a bracket and screwing it in, then we place the second bracket and repeat the process.

Next, we just mount the Eliminator itself on the case by installing it where a 120mm case exhaust fan would be. Finally, we connect the 4-pin Molex power cable and select our cooling setting using the control switch that was mentioned earlier.
