Massive Wattage, With the Size to Prove It: Ultra X-Finity 800W Power Supply Review- Page 1/4
March 28, 2007
By Thomas Soderstrom

Power supplies providing 800 watts of juice might be way beyond what most users currently need, but those few planning or who already have highly-overclocked Pentium Ds with dual GeForce 8800GTX graphics cards and a big rack of 10,000 RPM hard drives should appreciate this level of power capacity. Yes, today anything less than the hungriest parts won't even get close to such sizable load requirements, but having room to grow is never a bad thing when higher-power components are continually dropping in price!

Ultra Products is back with an entire line of higher-quality power units than its previous products, and as usual, we're really going for broke to test this one. Will it survive the test… and can it still provide the good value SysOpt readers expect?
