Ghost-Bootcd-Hardly see the command at start anymore

On my pc when running a bootcd normally when set to boot cd first the cd is starting alone.
but on a special one i must push the button to go through.

After some successful use of that cd where i had time to see the command at start suddenly on one dvd-slot-drive i cannot see that command anymore but on my other cdrw i can(but still not long enough to catch the moment).
1. the only change i have made which relates to both drives is
reducing processor -temperature.

2. on drive 1 i added recovery console where i can leave it alone(waiting 24 secs) or do a quick go-through to windows normal start.
No changes were made in cmos-setup.

I will now try out an older version of this boot-cd.
Thanks a lot

Which update-time is true for Microsoft Security Essentials?

As you probably remember i had a strange adventure when i saved back an old systempartition just afterwards seeing a 6 hours old automatic update of security essentials.

If MSSE does not show my time but us-time then it could just have happended after the save-back.
I was told by you that ghost will format the old partition.
How can i make MSSE tell me when updates will be made? Then i can verify the time.
Next time i will shut-down internet before save-back. Thanks
