Intel and their World's Smallest Super-CPU, the Atom! The official announcement of the Intel Atom didn't make a lot of waves, but now that we're seeing end products like the Acer Aspire One and MSI Wind, the processor deserves a lot more attention. With speeds of up to 1.6 GHz with Hyper-Threading technology, and a thermal design power as low as 0.65 watt, this diminutive challenger offers a very potent one-two punch.

Razer Lycosa Keyboard & Piranha Gaming Communicator Review Razer has unveiled two products that work just fine on their own, but also compliment one another. The Lycosa Keyboard provides a good base for serious gamers, with customizable keys and a backlit base, while the Piranha Headset supplies audio immersion and the benefit of a headset-microphone combination.

NVIDIA Mines the GeForce 9 Series to Refresh its Mainstream Line Right after taking over the single-GPU performance crown with their GeForce 200 series, NVIDIA has dipped back into the GeForce 9 well for their latest round of GPUs, These new products cover all levels of the mainstream market, from the baseline GeForce 8500 GT to the high-end GeForce 9800 GTX+, but is releasing additional video cards really the answer?

The Year of Serious Storage: 1.5TB Hard Drives and Mainstream SSD With the jump to a full one and one-half terabytes of disk space, Seagate has increased capacity by 50% compared to top-end 1TB drives, and raised the bar for desktop storage. That's not the only news, as mobile hard drives continue to get bigger and faster, while vendor adoption rates have increased in solid-state drives, helping to move these closer to the mainstream.

AMD Fires Back with the ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series The ink isn't even dry on the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200 series launch, and AMD has moved ahead with a new Radeon HD 4800 series, including the impressive Radeon HD 4850 and 4870 graphics cards. AMD has also exhumed the old All-in-Wonder name and released a new HDTV tuner-graphics card combo.
